What books do you think should be made into movies?

Are there any books you think should be made into movies? Are there any movies from books coming out soon that you can't wait to see?

I am looking forward to the Hunger Games movie and I really hope somebody makes a Book Thief movie. There are some other books I'd like to see made into movies as well, but I'm afraid they might be inappropriate for some of y'all.  tongue


EDIT: Just realized I made a stupid mistake in the title. Oops...  hmm

I want Gone,Hunger,Lies and Plague by Michael Grant to be turned into a movie.

Now that I can see my book collection, add continuing the Percy Jackson series, and Xenogenesis to that list. Haven't read much lately, so I really don't know what would make a good movie.

lol  2 of my ideas have been mentioned!
Pendragon- each book needs it's own movie with Soldiers of Halla possibly being split in 2... we can't pull a Series of Unfortunate Events on this

a much better and more well done Eragon movie -along with Eldest, Brisngr, and INHEREITANCE!!!! November 8th... i can't wait!

Peter and the Star Catchers- this might actually happen according to Ridely Pearson's website... i think a screen play is being written as we speak!

Kingdom Keepers- I know a lot of people are like "NO!!! MUST PRESERVE THE MAGIC!" because there are behind-the-scenes-scenes in the Ultidor and whathave you, but who doesn't want to see the "its a small world" dolls come to life and attack the Kingdom Keepers?!?!  lol   tongue  I would wanna see how well they do the characters coming to life at the close and how they would pull off the scene in "Disney at Dark" with Thunder Mountain  big_smile
