Will kaj come back? Disscuss here to discuss what to do when he's back if he exists. Or talk whenever he exists or not.<say[stop kaj<say[ if he exists

Are people really still talking about this?
If you really must know, kaj did exist. Moreover, he was permabanned two years ago. All he did was post mean comments, there wasn't a single case of hacking.
I can only guess how something so minor was blown so out of proportion, but let's be clear: kaj never was, and never will be, a hacker.
That's all I wanted to say.

Excellent topic for new scratchers. (sarcastic) Might I suggest this goeing into the Miscellaneous forum?

Kaj wasn't a hacker, just a regular Scratcher who posted mean comments and threatened to hack people's accounts. DOn't worry, she's banned. But, you can look at the bright side, as long as you have a safe password, you won't get hacked, or most likely. I think we have had enough of this kaj topic these days, though, so possibly closing this?

PLEASE Don't listen to some of these other scratchers. Kaj DID exist but never hacked and all he did was post mean comments. Other people have done it, but because Kaj might have posted them on popular projects, he got notorious for it. I want this matter to be over soon...

Well im sorry that this topic wasn't perfect i wanted 2 warn people about hackers. It's not only kaj (he may not exist) it's other people too!!!!<loudness>

Well there were never any hackers at all to start with, so basically Kaj represents the collective group of people who pretend to be hackers. So pretty much you need not worry about anyone.

^This.
If anything, there hasn't been a case of hacking on the website, just cases of passwords being easily compromised (the password is easy to guess, the password is shared between different users, etc.). So having a strong password and keeping it secret is the best way to avoid a "hacking" incident.

If you don't want to see the kaj jokes that people do, put Kaj or kaj in your ignore list. <mouse y><mouse x><mouse y><mouse x>

Kaj was a she, not he. And as Chrischb linked, read about her on the Wiki.

I really doubt it. SHE was banned a long time ago. And she existed, and she wasn’t really a true “hacker”, she only posted hack THREATS. People who say they got hacked by Kaj are most likely to be trying to scare others for a laugh or popularity, or their account DID get stolen and blaming Kaj for it(Because password guessing CAN happen sometimes!).
If someone DID get their account stolen, the best thing is to stay calm and don’t go insane.
DON’T: “Ahhhhh my friend got hacked! I need to warn the others!! Z0mg this is so scary!!”
-If that’s the case, the Scratch Team already probably took care of it and they are probably trying to recover their password.
DON’T: “OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG Did you know that ExampleHackedAccount got hacked? They have no more projects! OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!”
-This may scare other people and make people scared, worried, or people will think you’re a n00b. Plus, gossip and hacking rumors don’t help the situation. Don’t do it, it is NOT worth it!
DO: If projects get deleted, simply asking why is a great way to hear the owners account’s side of the story. Unless they don’t respond. If they do not respond, DO NOT PANIC. There would obviously be a good reason why they deleted the projects. And it may seem personal to some people if you ask.
If you want any more info about Kaj, Lightnin*(A moderator) made a great project explaining Kaj, I suggest you all read it: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Lightnin/1602339m
Thank you, and Scratch on!

Kaj was a fake hacker who posted hacking threats a LONG time ago. Don't worry about it, she won't be back anytime soon.

Anyone who did hack also said they were kaj, but were not he actual original user.
The REAL kaj did not hack anyone. Anyone who says they are kaj are not kaj, and can easily be identified using an IP address, so the scratch team can easily find out.
Jfmlove6 is right.

Kaj was a mean scratcher that posted mean comments and was a meanie and a bully and bla bla bla. Now for the real definition.
Kaj threatened to hack people, but she never did. She got permabanned. That means she got banned forever.
