You mean people on the forum? Mostly because they get their name to other people on the forums, and they do a bit of social networking to build up a fanbase. Also, if a person has alot of views, they are more likely to join the forums.

A lot of it is just building up your reputation for making good projects, and a lot of it is luck.  There are a lot of posts out there on how to become "famous", but most of them just say (in short): "be active and make good projects".  There isn't an easy way to get lots of views, otherwise everybody would get lots of views
