I don't see how this can offend you, no offence. I wouldn't mind if everyone called me Tom, or tomic, and I certainly wouldn't mind if everyone called me cool. XD

But really. It shows we know you, and lets you know we're friends. I mean, if everyone was your enemy, they'd probably come up with something a lot worse.

Sometimes it's hard to understand why different people react the way they do to certain situations.  But now that thebuilderdd has explained how he/she would like to be addressed, I think it's only polite that we try to accommodate the request.   Simply use the name as given, no big deal right?  It's a simple cut-and-paste.

Its not that I'm trying to be unfriendly, its that i'm trying to problem a point.
When someone starts calling you a nickname, it'll either fade away or stick.
(I'll stop calling you that after a while *whenthisthreadisclosed*)
And most of the time, people do it to attract your attention.
I called you builderDD because i knew it would grab your attention, so i could make my point clear.
