Will the scratch team release the source code of Scratch 1.3?

With previous versions of scratch it was possible to cause error messages and dig into the source that way - Errors don't seem to exist in 1.3 big_smile

The source code could be used for many purposes such as Jens Chirp & Scratch2EXE and my discScratchr program...

Glad you're interested in this! It's a pretty high priority. I can't give an exact date but it should be pretty soon.

JSO-I MAY have a version of 1.3 beta that gives you an error box. Let me know if you want me to dig for it.

I still havze all beta and Rel. Candidates available. It shouldn't take too long to cause an error with them big_smile I just want the source to be published smile

I know how to get an error box, just name a variable (%) and then double click the circle block
