Only the Scratch team can do that.
The Announcement forum is for letting our community know about new versions of Scratch and other related topics.
This FAQ forum lists our answers to "frequently asked questions."
You cannot post new threads to the FAQ forum. However, you can add a post to an existing thread.
If you have a question *with* an answer that you think should be added to the FAQ forum, you can add it to this thread and we'll consider adding it.

IME MAKING A GAME AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO MAKE SPRITES DISSAPPEAR WHEN ANOTHER SPRITE TOUCHES IT
Offline
My dad works at a computer company, so he told me about scratch. He said that you could work on projects with other people, and that there was an e-mail/IM thing where you could talk to only 1 or 2 people at a time. Are these true?
Thanks!

No e-mail or IM here. Only the forums and public comments on the projects and galleries.
You can work with other people, but communicating between the members of the team can get difficult. What happens most often is that someone creates some useful code (a gravity simulator, a scrolling background, a game engine, ...) and tells people about it on the forum. Others then download that Scratch code and incorporate it in their own projects.

How do you and programs to your favorites?

You can open it up in like Paint or something like that and use the little crop option to select the area you want. If you have Microsoft XP I am pretty sure your computer will have it.

dearkids,
Please remember to start your own new post on the "All about Scratch" forum when you have a question to ask, rather than tacking on to the end of an unrelated existing post.

Not in trouble, but try to start new topics in new posts on the appropriate forum, rather than adding to a thread that your comment is not relevant to.

flygon888 - You should post your questions as a separate topic on the Trouble Shooting forum. This question has nothing to do with the FAQ. I'll address your questions by comment on the project so as not to take this thread any further off course.

it's not really a question about scratch i'm asking here, but can someone please make me a sprite that follows another sprite? because I am makign a game for a friend and I really need a following thing. It won't have gravity, because the game will be sort of bird eye view and no platforms and all that. So, yeah, just a following sprite is all. it can just be a dot or something
just make one sprit instead of two so it follows (if that does not make sense I am sorry)

My pictures keep pixilating every time I try to load them and its really bad pixilation. What can I do to stop this from happening?
Offline
Well if it is a big picture it will shrink so it can fit on Scratch, from that point i dont think you can but maybe try to skew it on paint before you put it on scratch it might work better!
