Dude when that happens you usually drown in your blood.

What if you tilt your head foward and let the blood poor out?

The tongue has a HUGE supply of blood, it is usually so much that you either die drowning or from loss of blood, which happens when you do tilt you head forward.

Well if you wanted honesty, that's all you had to say. I never want to let you down or have you go, it's better off this way.

My friend has nearly died of laughter after seeing one of my many stupid hats. It was a huge, rainbow tri-corner thing...  tongue

The last time I got injured badly was in like, 4th grade when I got into a fistfight with some fifth grader. I don't remember why, but I my nose was almost broken. D: I've also nearly broken a toe when i ran into a washing machine. Oh, I stabbed my finger with a knife by accident and bled for 3 days.

The funniest one was when I couldn't breathe for like, a minute when i tried to run up a wall, got 4 feet off the ground, and fell. >_<  tongue  XD That was last year.

Re: Crazy near-death experiences...

If you don't feel like reading this, the gist of this story is that I had a ruptured appendix, I had to get surgery, and I was might have been close to death because my electrolytes were low  tongue

The Ruptured Appendix

I had appendicitis, and my dad thought it was just a really bad virus (because it lasted for a few days before I went to the hospital) and I kept complaining my stomach and legs were hurting, and I was throwing up alot. then one sunday evening, I woke up and I couldn't really move without feeling pain, so I slowly got out of the rocking chair to walk to my dad (very slowly and wobbly) and tell him I was feeling pain around my stomach area.
He makes me sit up on the couch to see if it was just the way I was sleeping that made my stomach area hurt. then he made me eat some soup, and I could only eat like 7 spoon fulls of soup, then I go to sleep for the night.

February 7th, 2011

I wake up on Monday morning, and I get worse, i'm still throwing up, and i'm getting weaker and weaker (when going to the restroom, I look in the mirror and notice I look weak and tired, I got alot skinnier, and my tounge is dry and a grayich color). Then my dad comes back from work to take me to the hospital, and after they give me all the tests, they say my appendix is ruptured, and i'll need surgery to get it removed on the same day. I froze when I heard this news, but I stayed calm.

While i'm in the rolling bed thingy, some guys from LeBonheur roll me into an ambulance truck and take me to LeBonheur, and I stay in a room with my dad because we're waiting for the news about when i'm getting appendix removed.

The guy who gives the information about the surgery comes in and he says 7-10 other kids need to get their appendix removed, so I have to wait 'till tommorow to get the surgery (and I can't drink anything in that time (and I'm so freaking thirsty! all i've had is an IV ALL DAY!  yikes ) but I can eat ice chips, which helped just enough.  lol

it's the next day, around 3:00 or 4:00 something P.M., and the doctors say i'm ready for my surgery. The doctors get my on the tall bed thingy with wheels, and roll me to the lobby for whne your about to get surgery. I wait like 7 minutes with my parents in the lobby, and they say I can pick out a toy to take home, but I'm almost 13! I was like "I'm almost thirteen though, and, umm, I haven't played with a toy in a while" (I tried to be really polite, and lots of the nurses think i'm polite anyhow  lol ) and the doctor said: "there will probaby be something you like  big_smile " and they rolled me into the room with lots of HUGE Toy chests (they were kind of like chests of drawers except the had doors  tongue ) and they roll me past all the toys, I actually see something I actually LIKE, and it was a magnetic dart board, haven't had one of those yet  tongue

They open the door, take it out, and give it to me, then when I'm back in the lobby, I give it to my parents. After like a minute, this lady with a shot comes and asks if im ready, and I say yes, so she injects the shot in my IV thingy, and after a few seconds, I start to feel foggy, then they roll me to the surgical spot somewhere not in sight, and the next thing I remember, I wake up with my eyes closed and im feeling really tired (plus my throat was hurting a little bit for some bizzare reason but I later found out they stuck tubes down my mouth and into my lungs so they could pump oxygen in my lungs  yikes ), I try to open my eyes, and I manage to open them for like a second at a time.

While they are rolling back to my room, my mom and dad asks how I feel, and I say my throat is hurting a little, and i'm really tired. A little later, i'm back in my room and they put me back in my bed, and some of my family is there, and I manage to open my eys for some seconds and say hi to them, then I close my eys and I can hear and see bright lashes in my eyelids because my mom was taking pictures of me, but it dosn't take my long to fall back asleep.

Later in the evening, I wake up (I can't remember what time) and my dad is the only one with me now (I can't remember if he was sleeping or awake) and thats all I remember from that day.

The rest of this story isn't important, but here's the epilogue.

April 19th, 2011

Its the present, and I have one WHOLE sweet potatoe pie to myself, I got my blue belt on the 15th, and I'm in the adult part of the class now!  big_smile  Plus I recieved lots of candy and flavored drinks and stuff and I ate 3 WHOLE containers of pringles by myself.  big_smile

Well thats the only major thing that really happened to me (I might have been close to death because my electrolytes or whatever they are were low) but i'm glad im okay now.  smile

I remember when that happened! There were 2 topics about it, I think...
When I had my surgery the kid opposite had a burst appendix. He got an Xbox and all I had was a teeny TV and my DS! The battery died instantly.  sad
And because I couldn't move my legs and was hooked up to like 3 machines I couldn't go to the toy room.  sad  And I couldn't eat or drink for 19 hours  yikes
I stayed overnight and didn't sleep at all. The ward was busy and some dumb nurses were trying to disassemble a bed and they hit a kid with some metal and he screamed his head off  mad

I actually heard lots of kids screaming and yelling in the lobby, it wasn't pleasant, but I ignored it. And I actually had a chance to get a 3DS in the hospital, but I wanted to do reviews on it before I got it, and it turns out you had to charge it too much, and the games were too expensive, but I got this Xbox game called Blur in replacement of the chance of getting the 3DS  tongue

I remember when I was riding my bike when an idiot threw something on the road, I flipped over my bike, had a gash 5 inches long, about an inch deap. And my whels had sparks flying out.

Whoa! I'd have had the 3DS, it sounds kinda cool!
There was a PS2 for the appendix kid, and I got nothing... except for work.
It was the last day of school term, yet I still had to do SCHOOLWORK this creepy woman gave me  mad
I saw lots of terrifying stuff really, and the nurses on the ward were as useful as my pinky toe. They were trying to find out where my vein was (they gave me freeze gel, but the op was postponed by 9 HOURS so it wore off) and I looked away and all I could hear was them saying 'Darn, where is it? No, go up a bit. No, wrong vein. Come on!'
It took them like 2 minutes to fix it up and there was no pain relief :S
And I could here this kid choking all night... D:

I fell off this huge snowdrift. Luckily, I only broke/sprained/fractured (I forget  tongue  ) my arm and a finger and had a concussion. I also pulled a muscle in my foot in the same situation.

I remember that! For some funny near death(and maybe death...) experiences go read some of the 'darwin awards books'. I died when I tried to cannon ball into a pool(kiddie blow-up one) when I was young.

Actually I just sprained an ankle, and didnt die, but dying makes it more interesting.  wink

When I was two-ish years old, I pushed myself down a staircase while I was in a stroller. I just got a couple bruises, though, so it could have been lots worse. And a couple days ago when my sister and mom were driving home, a huge grill in a box fell out of the trunk in the car in front of them and ALMOST crushed them. O:
