Yeah, and if rumors say the world will end in 2012 it must be true too!

I know, I believe in the Mayan's theory.![]()
You might believe in the Mayan's theory, but they don't. Modern Mayans keep saying its the end of the calender, not the world

And then Libya, Yemen and Ivory Coast start having Civil Wars.
But really. 2012 will not happen.
The end.
Never mind that. 2012 will happen.
Why?
Because it's next year.
Why don't we just call it the Apocalypse, especially since we don't go around calling our projects the date they were uploaded.
And why the Apocalypse won't happen? Because everyone beleived the same thing for 2000. What happened? N-O-T-H-I-N-G.

Back to the Future in 2010 had flying cars, and shoes that tied themselves. Last year we got Snuggies, Pillow Pets, and string that bends. Yipee.

The thing about the depiction of the future in that movie is that it's just like today, only with flying cars and stuff.
Something I'm really mad about is that we don't have Hoverboards yet. And we probably never will.

Hoverboards can easily be invented but who would buy them? in this economy, no one would need/afford its. it's easily made with magnets in the ground and in the board, but the government holds too many secrets.

Not that easy. A stable magnetic field is very hard to achieve. The problem which lies is we would need a magnetic plate in the ground as well as one on a board. Controlled by supercomputers. That is too expensive. Oh and the fact that the magnitic field would be soo strong it would be hazardes to human health.

I went ti Chichen Itza and guess what? The Mayans did not predict the world to end in 2012 this is the end of their calender, then it starts again. The calendar is like a year to them or something.
I agree. I've also thought of this before. I mean, think about it. It's sort of like today's calendars. They only run up to a year, and don't usually go past December or January of the next year. The Mayans simply stopped it because they had went far enough into time. There's no point in going any further. They probably also did this because that was the time it took for their calendar to end, like you said. +1,000 for you!
