The image is more clear, and you can do full screen. So I like flash.

When you hold shift and click full screen it gives you a completely full screen, like the one in the offline scratch program
[removed by moderator], couldn't get a pic. Try it yourself
Also if you shift click the green flag it gives you turbo mode.
AHA! Got the pic for this one
Nice features.

Yeah, I know both.

Now the levels that never loaded work! So you dont have to view them on the program. . I would still keep java aswell as flash. You could have a bar in the Permantly in the corner of the website so you can switch between the two.

I had put Scratch development on hold for a variety of reasons, these being chief among them.
1) Speed of the Java player
2) Sound issues when pressing keys using the Java player
The Flash version of the Scratch player is incredible.
Well...I guess that means I need to put down Minecraft and get back to Scratch!

I love it! I was able to embed my project in my wiki. It's perfect!

Sorry to seem dumb.... but what do I need to publish a Scratch project as a flash file? I'm very interested in this thread but I can't figure out what I need to download.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Unfortunately, you can not convert a Scratch project into a flash file. But there is an experimental Flash player available on the Scratch website that will play your shared Scratch project online. Run any Scratch project and look to the right side of the page and you should see an area that says "Try the new player" with a link you can click on.
