A New Fakedex, a Fresh Start

With the release of Pokemon B&w, it's obvious that the producers of the game are running out of good ideas (Ice Cream? Trash Bags? REALLY, Gamefreak?) Anyway, as a result of returning, and as a result of accidentally throwing out all my old fakemon art, I'm going to start anew.

...with a twist.

YOU GUYS MAKE THE SHOTS.

As I will try to salvage as much of my old plans as possible, I am also going to let you, the Scratch community, help me with this project. You post the concept, the name, the moves, the story, the sprite, whatever! I'll take it into account and if you're lucky, I'll put it up, with maybe a minor tweak or two. Keep in mind that all submissions will be approved by me, and if this gets out of hand, I will go back and do it solo.

Unfortunately, the only fake I can remember right now is my Grass starter, Grator.

Let's do this together, guys.

Re: A New Fakedex, a Fresh Start

Cool idea. I have a few concepts, I'll post them up:
Dandelion
Maple seed (the type that spin as they fall)
Cherry Blossom (Eventually evolves into entire tree)
Clock that changes type depending on the time
Elemental pokemon (Hydrogen, helium, oxygen, neon etc.)

Copter seeds? I like that idea.

Maybe a Rotom form of a clock?

Flowers are meh, I don't see a lot of potential in a flower pokemon.

How's this: Glow-in-the-dark pokemon?

Maybe a glow in the dark star, like those things we all used to hang on our ceilings? :p

Nah, I was thinking more along the lines of a floating blob of glow.

Used to? I like the glowing blob, sounds like a good HM slave really. Glad you liked the copters, clock Rotom would be cool.

Re: A New Fakedex, a Fresh Start

Sinja and Ninrukin, the ninja pokemon.

They are both ninja stars, shirukens. Sinja has 3 points and evolves into Ninrukin, who has 4 points.

It's a good concept, but with this dex, I dont just want crazy flying things. I want a lot of these pokemon to be more animalike/humanlike/plantlike/etc... Not bad though.

Re: A New Fakedex, a Fresh Start

For anyone interested, I'm aiming for at least 160 in the region dex, and at least 110 new pokemon.

That means that there can be relationships between new pokemon and existing ones! (evos, etc)

Re: A New Fakedex, a Fresh Start

How about a water platypus, a fire bear, and a water croc (Grator)?
If you wanna scrap grator, then you could use a grass type aye-aye or lemur.

If you don't like the platypus, then use a hippo.

You choose, I can draw some designs.

Re: A New Fakedex, a Fresh Start

I can help you with legendary ideas.

Concepts:

Angelic/Demonic
Something with outer space (example supernova/black hole pokemon)
Life/Death
Maybe even cyberpunk pokemon
Some pokemon based on legends from the colonial time, either European or Native American - perhaps in one version a legendary pokemon based on a native american legend and the other version a legendary based on european legends

Maybe blue stars that take away your health when touched, and if you're not looking? It will add a sense of Mario to the game.

Water croc=Totodile

I wanna stick with this guy. I see a lot of potential for him, especially due to the fact that the other grass starters aren't nearly gonna as strong as he will.

I like the hippo idea, and bear is meh.
