Oh-I didn't see that. We could replace the E-Reader Berries with new ones. I'll come up with a few that have cool uses.

Slight change in story-
Instead of the Professer handing you the pokeball, she turns around and looks in the briefcase to find that they had escaped while she wasn't looking. She asks you and your rival to go find the pokemon and bring them back. She goes searching herself. You can find her blocking the path to the rest of Route 1- the first part with tall grass.
Find any of the three pokemon and talk to it. Your rival will walk over with the pokemon super-effective against the one you just found, and Professer Beech will have the last pokemon. Your pokemon will hop and the Professer says that it has bonded with you. She says to take this pokemon with you to start your journey.

The e-Reader berries aren't in the code normally. They're modified Enigma Berries.
Maybe it could be changed to giving you rare berries, like the rare Pokémon events.

Sure. That sounds cool!
There should be one giveaway of a weak but shiny pokemon. That'd be an epic event.
I'm working on the regional rodent.

IDEA
The final event Pokémon is Pikachu. When you face it, it's Lv. 100, holding a Light Ball, has the ability Static, and knows Volt Tackle, Iron Tail, Thunder, and Surf. It has a 100% chance of being Male. It is found at a location called "Thunder Crevice."

One problem. Since were are editing the Kanto pokemon to add in the fakemon, Pikachu will be replaced... D:

OR we could replace Deoxys with Pikachu's name, sprites, cry, moveset, type, and abilities.

I'd really prefer this game to be Fakemon only. Sorry.

Ok then...
Here's a good trainer event: The player can fight TheBlueRocky (aka you). After the battle, you comment on how "beta testing seems to be going smoothly" and give the player a Starf Berry.

Three ideas for event patches:
Alternate costumes: they change the sprite of your character (or other characters)
Alternate music: changes certain musical tracks
Alternate textures: changes the look of tile sets
These patches, however, aren't contained within the game at the start. They're separate.

Another idea:
Maybe there could be "patch packs", where multiple patches are put in a collection. (i.e. a costume, music, and texture patch are put in a thematic group)

Instead of a costume patch, how about you go to a clothing store and pay to change your sprite into different clothes?

Ohohohoho, like in Pokémon Prism
But the patches could add more to the list.
In all honesty, we could support third-party patch addons.

How about a building that's under construction until you download a patch?

What would be in the building?

Dunno. A store? A dungeon? I'll think about it...

Maybe there's an event Ghost-type legendary in the basement?

I say a store.
You could buy new stuffs in it that you couldn't before, and there could be a few trainers in there too.

Here's an idea:
It's a store/battle arena/Pokémon Center building. However, the basement is sealed off for unknown reasons. After you go through a long process of snooping, you can get the key to the basement. In the basement is an event Ghost-type legendary.
There
