Importing Music

I think that you should be able to import mp4 sounds because when I try to use a music program on my computer, the Scratch Design Studio won't let me import music from iTunes.

Re: Importing Music

At the moment Scratch can only support WAV and MP3 sounds. However, you could try using a free sound conversion program such as Audacity to change some different sound files into a WAV file.

I haven't tried the program myself yet, but as an MP4 is a video file - Theirs a guide here that should help.

Anyway, on the topic of suggestions, having more sound files supported would be very useful.  smile

I agree. I've got a very dodgy music converter. It only does 70% convertion because I havn't perchased it. But the format on iTunes is M4A. Videos and podcasts are MP4.

Anyway, MP4 is video, which might be coming in a future version of Scratch, but not yet.
