Didn't you know about Windows...
...that...
1st Windows NT. Windows NT 3.1, is the first Windows NT, so it's Windows NT 1.0.
2nd. Windows NT 3.5, is Windows NT 1.5!
3rd. Windows NT 3.51 --- Windows NT 1.51!
4th. Windows NT 4.0 is however Windows NT 2.0. Funny, in't it?
5th. Windows NT 5.0 or Windows 2000, is Windows NT 3.0!
6th. It appears that Windows XP is ... Windows NT 3.1! Windows XP looks old.
7th. Microsoft Whistler Server 2002 is NT 3.2... is that chinese NT version of Windows 3.1?
8th. Windows Vista, is of course Windows NT 4.0. It matches for when people hate taskbars. Taskbars are important, people just hate why they are nice. Oh, that IS TRUE by the WAY.
9th. Windows Server 2008, is Windows NT 4.1.
10th. Windows 7, Windows NT 4.2.
11. Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows NT 4.1.2.
11.5. Windows Server/home 2011 currently in beta/alpha, Windows NT 4.2.5.
12. Windows 8, Windows NT 4.3.

Windows is Interface Manager. Using the Windows 4.9 number-version names, add 3 to the first number, so Windows 4.9 is Interface Manager 7.9! I'll make that again Windows, takeaway 3 from the first number. Get Windows 4.9!

Yes, I knew that all. My head is full of stuff most people consider useless.
Did you know....
Windows 8 will be a 128-bit OS, and will run completely on the cloud?
@scimonster Windows NT is the core, or "kernel" of all modern Windows versions.

Did you know? Microsoft versioned the first NT as 3.1 to match the current Windows version of the time.
