I'm trying to upload our computer club's first project but the upload bar is just sitting at about 10% and not moving.
I've tried twice now
Is there a problem with uploading at the moment or is are there issues when uploading from behind a proxy server that I need to go into some settings somewhere?
regards

Hi Simon -
Yep, if you are using a proxy server, you'll need to configure Scratch to recognize it. There are instructions on how to do this here:

Thanks very much

Any tips for adjusting the proxy setting on a mac. editing the .ini file in Text edit does not seem to be working. Before typing in the proxy server script, I would receive the Failed:Unknown Reason. After typing in the Proxy Server IP address I started getting the Failed: Broken Connection or it just waits on the Connecting to Scratch.
This has been an issue with scratch for years now. It's disappointing.
Any ideas for what to do now?
For the Scratch Team: Any chance you can develop exporting capabilities?

I assume you've already looked at the information on setting up proxies over here:
http://info.scratch.mit.edu/Network_Installation
Another place you can look for information is on the ScratchEd forum which is specifically for educators:
http://scratched.media.mit.edu/
Lastly, perhaps you can send a copy of your .ini file to the help desk at help@scratch.mit.edu with any error messages you are seeing and hopefully they can work it out with you.

What would you like to export to? A stand-alone executable? There are ways to do that on a Windows PC but I don't recall seeing one on a Mac.
