Chrome 11

I just started using Google Chrome 11 beta today, and it is extremely fast. Does anyone else use the Chrome 11 beta?

Re: Chrome 11

No, but I use Chrome 10. Chrome, in any form, is very fast. I don't see how it could get much faster.

Re: Chrome 11

I have the Chrome 12 beta! I swear, every time I open it up, there's a new version!  tongue  Still no hardware acceleration for Mac, though.

Re: Chrome 11

I use Chrome 10 on my Linux laptop and Chrome 11 Beta on my desktop. I didn't really notice any speed improvements from 10 to 11, but the jump from 9 to 10 was astounding. Most pages just seem to appear now.  yikes

It uses a new protocol.

Beta? FF4 has been out of beta for a while.

Re: Chrome 11

Guys, Chrome doesn't load anything faster but in a different order.
It loads pictures first making it seem to go faster.

Re: Chrome 11

I don't know what kind of Chrome I'm using, but it's really awesome and simple and fast.

You should check your facts first. http://igamek.com/2011/03/firefox-inter … e-compare/ Chrome and Opera win almost every speed test.

(On a side note, you're back!)

Re: Chrome 11

It doesn't matter if it seems faster or it is faster, it just matters what I believe, and I believe it's faster.

Are there new functions on this new version?

The main thing Chrome 11 adds is a voice input API for extension developers. You can read more here.

Re: Chrome 11

I refuse to use Chrome on Linux after it's extremely buggy preformance in ubuntu. Still, it's a good browser.
