Rename forum topics

At the moment you can edit a post, but there is no way of changing a name of a form topics - unless your a moderator. I believe we should be able to rename topics - to correct spelling mistakes or change a status of a topic.

Do you aggree?

Re: Rename forum topics

You may edit it after 5 minutes.

After that, you can't.

I believe the reason is so that you don't post something, and change the topic completely to make the people discussing the first topic look like fools.

Re: Rename forum topics

You could always report it - it doesn't take more than a couple of seconds for one of us to change a topic name and it's no real bother to us ^^ In addition to what kayybee said, I think it's so that people can't change the name of a topic every few minutes, which could get confusing... Or, of course, someone having an inappropriate topic name, then editing it when they see that a mod is online...
