Some Japanese guys report that all Japanese characters of 1.3 are displayed as black rectangles on Windows 2000.

It seems font lookup fails on Windows 2000.
if they describe specific font in ja.po like as follows, Japanese characters are displayed correctly.
msgid "Win-Font"
msgstr "MS Gothic"
I think there is same problem in other languages.

That is annoying for japanese people isn't it. but I don't think it's scratch's fault, either is is squeak... it's that PC itslef.

I think thats true.my fonts simplyfyed arabic,simplyfyed arabic fixed and Rod won't show on scratch or word...
