I think i found out why.
You cant download any projects that have & in the title.
Eg: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/hellokitty-96/288560
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/chalkmarrow/23548

Well, you can download them...only the filename gets mangled and loses it's .sb extension. You can then manually rename them and they work okay. It's a bug in the download feature.

i figured out how to download.
1.save the file
2.find it.
3.right click
4.select rename
5.add .sb to the end of the file name.
6.try opening it in scratch!
