Some people on my bus just make fun of me nonstop for no reason. Ignoring isn't an option at this point. "Tattling" will make it worse. What should I do?
Offline
Why is ignoring not an option? They do it for a reaction. Ignore them.

I do, but they make fun of that. Which is why it isn't an option. It's been going on since _th grade, which was a while ago.

Just stay ignoring. Try it, they will stop soon.

Then sorry, but this is like a question that has no answer.

It's impossible to beat a bully by yourself?

Yes, just stand up to them, and they'll be so surprised that they'll stop making fun of you.

If you want to take a risk, say something like "wow, you're cool for saying that," but there's a 50/50 chance that they'll either stop or intensify.
Your best bet is to keep ignoring them, hopeless as that sounds. It works really well if you know how to do it, the trick is to acknowledge what they're saying but just not care about it.

This is what you do when you're in an arguement and they decide to bring up your mom:
Them: YO MAMA-
You: Shut up, this arguement is between me and you. Not me and my mom.
Works every time.

Most people that make fun of others are just real life trolls- they want to get a reaction out of the other person, so that'll just make it worse.

My fav thing to say:
"Captin Crunch crunches on your face, doesn't he? I bet that's how your face got to be so ugly"
It should take them a while to think of something to say, and if it takes more than a few seconds, then you can consider yourself the winner of the arguement.

They could use badder insults with bad words in them
(If they know them)

Move away from them on the bus, if that is an option...
Or set them up for failure. Tell your Bus driver "Look in the back when we start leaving" So, it's like the driver saw it, not that you had tattled...

That would probably do it, actually. It's like feeding the trolls so much that they throw up
.

First of all, it matters where you're sitting. If you're sitting at a close distance from the boys, I suggest you move further away or at least near someone you know that can cover for you. If the problem continues, just tell a person or persons of higher authority and I'm sure they'll be glad to help. Also, don't be afraid to speak out against them. Trust me, I've had my days of being teased. I was once coiled on the ground, being kicked numerous times by a bunch of boys in my grade. Luckily, I wasn't hurt, but I realize the subject is about you, so let's get back to it. If the boys are younger, older, or the same age as you, it doesn't matter. You have to know that you have to protect yourself. If it gets really out of hand, there is times where you have to fight back. I'm not saying violence is the answer, but it is in some cases. However, this seems too small of a deal for you to be kicking and punching. Like I said earlier, just tell someone of authority (i.e. the bus driver, your teacher, the principal). Have you talked this over with your parents? If not, I really think you should confront them about it.
