i use the internets when i'm jumping trains every now and then and I can type "scr" and press enter to get here, but i have to take hands away from the keyboard and CLICK the memory of scratch. by the time i do that the train's left

FF has, does and always will pwn(ed) IE. But there are a couple of reasons I'm not upgrading from FF 3.6 to 4:
1. It's incompatible with a million of my addons.
2. It looks like a copy of Chrome now!

Um...right click on toolbars, un-check the option for "Tabs On Top". Problem solved. At least for your "copy" problem, anyway.
And Chrome is great, but not great for web-developers such as myself. It shows code in an odd way, and FF has always been on top of things when it comes to compatibility with code.

You know, I've noticed that Chrome doesn't play so well with JS. Version 10 only scores 97 on the Acid3 test, and it somehow messed up a simple print line command I was testing out.
