I know this is a bit of a sad topic to start (please don't close it for that), but does anyone or has anyone known anyone on Scratch that is now dead. So far (probably never), I don't know anyone who has died here. I'm just asking if anyone knows and what that was like. If you knew that person in real life or liked that person a lot. If so, I hope they're in a good place. That's all.

But I remember their icon, it was an eye and it's color was red and blue.
Smokepool?
Yes, that's it. I remember when that happened.

It's so sad that 0Zero's final project was an apology :'(
And tragic that Smokepool was still vreplying to comments before she died. Anyone know her last comment?
Gosh, it's so sad. Life is so precious, yet fragile.
I dunno anyone else that has died, thankfully.

Apparently a stupid user named StarCobra died, ut it was a popularity stunt.

Look at this:
Don't create topics that have a strong likelihood of creating arguments (i.e. Trolling). This includes topics about religion, politics, conspiracy theories, etc. If we feel a topic or post is disrespectful or 'flamebait,' we will close or remove it.

* hem hem * '
Not religion, not politics, not Conspiracy theories, not disrespectful, not flamebait. Therefore, this is irrelevant

I don't really see this too much as a thread that is likely to cause arguments, but as a way to remember and respect those Scratchers who have passed away.
So long as this this isn't going to turn towards cases of fake deaths as popularity stunts (which is not the main point of the thread anyway), I think this thread can remain open.

WAIT WAIT NEVER MIND. FLAMEBAIT RIGHT IN MY POST. SORRY.
I kind of let my disbelief in god slip away into anger for a second.
I'm kinda really atheist.

Back in the Swine Flu scare I saw a user who wrote that she had swine flu and was vomiting blood. A week or so later I chanced by a project from the same user- her sister went on the account to tell everyone that the user had died of swine flu. I'm a little ashamed to say that before the second project I thought swine flu was nothing serious and thought she was overplaying its drama.
I don't even remember the user's name.

I had H1N1 (Swine Flu) for an entire week! It was Thanksgiving break, so I didn't miss and school. Yes, my school gives us Thanksgiving week off. No, I will not tell you my school. My H1N1 symptoms: Fever, vomiting, drinking 1/2 gallons of milk (Usually I drink 1/8), and sleeping late (Starting Winter break, that time became my normal waking up time.)

swine flu was basically a myth. 5 years from now no one will remember it. does anyone remember the bird flu? well, in 2006 or something, everyone thought that you could die from bird flu.

I remember Smokepool and how sad people were after she died. Even though I never really talked to her on this site, I was still sad that she had died. It was still losing a member of the community, and it just felt so wrong, as it would today if anybody were to die, God forbid.
