The Sims... scratched?

Hello. I have been on Scratch for quite a while now and wondered if anybody would like to make a game, like The Sims, on Scratch? Obviously it would be lots smaller and in most ways not as good but a fun project to do and so I am going to try it. If you would like to help please reply to this post, if you don't want to but have any requests, suggestions or just want to see the progress feel free to - but remember, some things will be kept as a surprise.
Of course anyone who does want to help out will have to be quite good at Scratch and if you ask to but are not quite the type of Scratcher I need please do not be offended: I will appreciate that you want to be involved and take your suggestions seriously.
The name will not be The Sims Scratched because that makes it sound like a tribute but other than that I have not many Ideas so I would love some suggestions. One last thing: If you look at my account you will see not many projects there, that is because I used to have many but my system messed up and my hard drive was wiped before I could upload them.
                Cheers (I hope I didn't sound too pompous there, did I ?  tongue  )

Re: The Sims... scratched?

are you sure you want to make such a complicated game as that its up to you,but think about just the camera movement alone now slowly add on to that in other element and you will see how complex it will be. if you work bit by bit game by game on concepts  (such as camera angels) once you know all the pieces its easy to put them together
hope this helped  smile

Thanks for the ideas, but it's definitely not going to bee 3d, though. The environment will move around the player but as for dynamic cameras that's all. It will be a very small game, and nowhere like as big as The Sims 1 let alone Sims 3.

I think it would be a great idea to recreate sims into Scratch

Re: The Sims... scratched?

Jeez guys my laptop went dodgy and self destructed (not really) so my  hard drive was wiped and everything on this project was deleted. I have to admit it wasn't very much. I am still going to restart but this time maybe on something more powerful than scratch. It will also be free... for now. Anyone helping will get the finished thing free... if they are helpful enough. Thanks!
