Ideas for Pokémon:

Malkata: A spirit of a dead Pokémon brought back to life by a Death incarnate. It is relatively shy and timid, but will do anything to accomplish it's goal. [Ghost type]

EVOLUTION BRANCH 1

Darkata: A Malkata that gave into dark power and became corrupted. It becomes more ruthless and sadistic. (evolves from Malkata at lv. 20) [Ghost/Dark type]

Sadakata: A Darkata that became so infused with darkness it became a Death incarnate. It can now revive deceased Pokémon into Malkata. (evolves from Darkata at lv. 40) [Ghost/Dark type]

EVOLUTION BRANCH 2

Fuegota: A Maltaka that has possessed a stone statue as a host body. The stone is apparently the same material Steelix is made out of. (evolves from Maltaka at lv. 20) [Ghost/Steel type]

Kamigao: Pierced by holy light, Fuegota has been ridden of all traces of darkness. It is now a burning servant of divine angels. (evolves from Fuegota at lv. 40) [Fire/Steel type]

Good?    I hope someone can sprite these.

I've noticed Nintendo likes to stay away from creepy things like that, but fans can do what they like.    I personally like this idea.

That's because Nintendo is aimed at children. This here would be the cure for child constipation.

Another idea:

What is Sadakata and Kamigao were the first legendaries to evolve from another Pokémon? To make it so you couldn't get them early, Malkata, Darkata, and Fuegota wouldn't appear in the wild. You could only get them from breeding. Maybe Sadakata and Kamigao could be the version mascots? Sadakata for Crimson, due to crimson being the color of blood/demons, and Kamigao for Chrome, due to it having a rock body. Just a thought.

Because it's a stone body?    I get it. You don't have to work on the sprites in any particular order.

Maltaka:

Crimson version: A spirit of a dead Pokémon brought back to life by a Death incarnate. It is relatively shy and timid, but will do anything to accomplish it's goal.

Chrome version: Since they're relatively weak, they often try to find more power or a host. It's favorite food is the Enigma Berry.

Darkata:

Crimson version: A Malkata that gave into dark power and became corrupted. It becomes more ruthless and sadistic.

Chrome version: It is filled with an evil surge. It gained small necromantic powers due to its darkness.

Sadakata:

Crimson version: A Darkata that became so infused with darkness it became a Death incarnate. It can now revive deceased Pokémon into Malkata.

Chrome version: It summons Malkata to do it's bidding. It has been reported hiding in Death Cavern.

Fuegota:

Crimson version: Its stone hide is nearly impenetrable. It often camouflages into the side of a mountain.

Chrome version: A Maltaka that has possessed a stone statue as a host body. The stone is apparently the same material Steelix is made out of.

Kamigao:

Crimson version: Though it is rarely seen by humans, sightings occurred at the summit of Mt. Pierce.

Chrome version: Pierced by holy light, Fuegota has been ridden of all traces of darkness. It is now a burning servant of divine angels.

Just because versions have different Pokédex entries.
