Mind if you tell us what is so special about the date? All this guessing verges a bit on the side of a TBG game since it asks people to post answers until the correct answer is given.

There's an organization that put up a billboard by my house claiming that the end of the world will fall on this date, but I think it's since been replaced with one for Portal 2.
