I always have trouble with <broadcast[ and <when I receive[ could i have some support?

Well, a broadcast sens a message through the Scratch program. The When I receive block starts when it sees the broadcast. You can read about broadcasts on the Scratch Wiki. smile

I figured broadcst out now. But i'm stuck on <go back( )layers> and <clear graphic effects>

Those are different "distortions" of the images.

"The "clear graphic effects" block resets all the different appearance modifiers on a sprite, like the color, ghost, and brightness effects.

you know when flag clicked responds when you click the flag well when i recieve responds when you broadcast it
