Do not use any part of these sprites/pokemon designs or species names for your own use. If you want to use a similar design, please post in this topic to ask for permission. Also, you cannot use these pokemon in your own pokemon hacks or your own regional browsers. Just wanted to clarify that. Sorry if it's rude, but it's neccessary.

All these sprites are scratch sprites. That means I started with a blank canvas and no other sprite.

I may use these pokemon for some Pokemon Hacks I am working on, but I'd like to share them to see what you think of them. smile

Gneidon

The Stone Helmet Pokemon
Pokemon Crimson Dex Entry:
"The helmet on it's head was molded from stone. It uses it to headbutt trees to collect fruit."
Pokemon Chrome Dex Entry:
"It's hide is weak and squishy, so it molds a stone helmet to protect itself from predators. If it breaks, the pokemon cannot be found until it creates a new one."
Evolution Line---
Gneidon --Lv.43--> Congeode --Lv.61--> Atrondious

Congeode

The Stone Cover Pokemon
PKMN Crimson Dex Entry:
"Their bodies are strong enough to resist a scratch from a diamond. They are often found buried in large caverns."
PKMN Chrome Dex Entry:
"Through evolution they had concealed themself in stone. Once they are fully evolved the stones shatter and it is said that they become a large dragon."

Atrondious

The Stone Jaw Pokemon
PKMN Crimson Dex Entry:
"It's bones are created from stone. One of it's typical meals consists of large diamond mines."

"It possesses a jaw strong enough to break through diamonds. They live in areas abundant with precious minerals."

Hm... We should be allowed to make similar sprites for you didn't copyright any "ideas" (but you didn't copyright the pictures either, but that's just plain rude to steal...)

We should be able to use ideas, especially if it was not inspired by you.

So we can't use a black pixel in our sprites?

The definition of copyright is anyone's personal intellect.

Please be serious about the copyright - you can use a black pixel, but not an atrondious arm, leg, head, etc.

P.S. Here are the name origins:

Gneidon = Gneiss(rock) + ???(it ends with don...i cant remember...)
Congeode = Conceal + Geode(rock)
Atrondious = Atrocious(sp?) + Diamond + Atrocious(again)

No need for ideas, I've already got too many sprite ideas piled up to do it's crazy!
I have a pure Water type pokemon called "Plarnoom". It's a moonfish pokemon and can only be found when diving or fishing in certain areas. I'm aslo working on the sprite.

Well, I first started with a 80x80 canvas to know what size the sprite needs to be, and I just used the pixel tool on Paint (Windows 7) to create the outline. I have the design down on paper. I collected the colors, colored in the outline, and added lighting and shading. Finally, I do the outline and, voila! Atrondious and Congeode are now sprited! smile

Yes, they do have quite a resemblance because they're both psuedo legendaries. It's mostly just the poses.
