because

opposites are "differing radically in some way" according to my dictionary and swimming pools and camp sites aren't really particularly different

but they're both like recreational stuff or whatever
people go to both in the summer
people tend to not go to both in the winter
people use both as a restroom

and they both still stink

There's really no correlation between the two.  Usually opposites have some correlation, as they relate to the same thing.

Hot and cold relate to temperature and are radically different.
Tall and short relates to height and are radically different.

Camp sites and pools or high schools don't really relate at all, besides that they are locations, but they aren't radically different.

(Bah, edit.  Tall and short do not relate to temperature.)

If you don't consider that spam then stop considering my non-trolling posts troll posts (or whatever it is.)

Re: did you know?

Not sure if this topic has a concrete discussion point.  hmm  I'm going to have this topic closed.

Keep in mind that when making thread, the main point of the topic should be clear and it should allow other Scratchers to give non-spammy input. Examples of good topic starters are those that ask Scratchers questions with reasoning/explanations for their answer, those that ask Scratchers to recount an event or story, or those that ask Scratchers for an opinion on a subject.
