so i was watching dogs 101 and thought i'd take out my own pet, feeding with her, letting her run around, and such
usually when i turn the light on she wakes up right away and starts running on her wheel, but today she didn't. i was confused so i looked around for any movement because she rustles why she sleeps. not in her little hideout thing, so i lift a piece of her better and their she is
she's not moving, so i touch her. not breathing not warm, i'm still in shock that nikki is dead// i never abused her, she wasn't sick to what i know of and she was fed enough
i just don't know what i did wrong :c

i had a brown hamster named black bear once and i went on a vacation to florida for like a week and i told my grandma (who lives with us) to take good care of black bear
but when we got home i went up to my room to play with black bear and he wouldn't move and then i was like "daddy black bear won't play with me" and then my dad said "uh i think black bear is dead" and i was like "?!?!?!" :C

My dog once ate rat poisoning.
I feel sorry for you.

The same thing happened to me a couple years ago...my hamster Memeno was perfectly healthy and happy (as far as I knew)...and then he died...I felt as though it was all my fault...
I send my sympathies to you and Nikki

It's not your fault.
Hamsters don't generally live that long.

she only lived about 3/4 of a year

How old was she?
Hamsters only live 2-3 years, so you shouldn't blame yourself for it.

Could've been a hairball, which are often fatal to rodents. Hairballs have killed two of the total five rabbits I've ever owned. I hear vegetable oil clears it out, but you have to recognize the signs of it, which are pretty subtle.

Wait....your hamster might've been old, I guess. Were you watching the Dogs 101 about the dog that was 1/2 a foot long? I saw it too.
R.I.P Nikki. :'(
My hamster died too. His name was Gizmo.

I've never had a hamster, but I know how you feel. My goldfish, Spotty, died back in November. D:

she probably thought it was funny because we like just got the hamsters (my sister had one too but it didn't die then) right before we left so mine lasted like two weeks
so i guess she thought it was funny that my first pet only lasted me two weeks and i wasn't there for half of it
which really isn't funny if you think about it
