I thought they were gonna stop at SoulSilver/HeartGold, but then they made Pokemon Black/White. Do you think Nintendo will continue to make Pokemon games, or end it?

They should've stopped at SoulSilver/HeartGold anyway. IMO at least. Diamond and Pearl was decent but Black and White feels strange to me for some reason. But again I've seen few gameplay clips of it, and never actually tried it since I grew out of Pokemon quite a while ago.

Yeah, it's too successful for them to stop it. Most likely, they'll keep it going for another generation or two.
Falling in the pattern of the past 2 generations, there will probably be 3 more games this generation - Remakes of the Hoenn region (Because in the 3rd gen they remake 1st gen, 4th gen remade 2nd gen, so 5th will probably remake 3rd gen), and the third Unova game(like Platinum to DP, but to BW).

I don't care enough to try and find out.

However, they most likely WON'T release remakes of Gen III. The reason is that you can migrate Gen III to Gen IV, and then to Gen V through Gen IV. The reason they make remakes is because it would otherwise be impossible to obtain Pokémon from the games being remade. (The reason is that Gen I and II couldn't trade with Gen III)

However, what about those kids who have DSi's and XLs and can't play GBA games or migrate any Pokémon? Wouldn't they need a way to get Gen III Pokémon? Plus, the Gen III games are outdated and a lot of the features of new games would be great in Hoenn. Lots of people WANT them to make Gen III remakes, so they'll most likely oblige the demands.
Just my point of view. You don't have to believe it, just telling you my reasons for believing that they will.
There's still a chance they won't remake Gen III, so your argument is just as valid.

the only reason any company does anything is for profit.
don't think they're above that

Sometimes it seems it will be a never ending franchise. Which I'm fine with if they continue to innovate the series and make quality branch-offs.

Probably. It's a big hit. My best guess it they're gonna do Pokemon: Gem and Crystal (Practically the same thing) or something.

They already have a Crystal. My bet's on Marble and Ivory or something.

I'd say at least, before they decide to close shop, they would release some amazing extravaganza game of all the regions etc. etc.
-- Several months ago, The Pokemon Division of Nintendo added Crimson and Scarlet to their database, along with Purple and Orange if I recall correctly.
Who knows.

Game Freak doesn't care about what the community wants - if it's succesful and they're making money, they'll continue.
Unova does not seem at all strange to me, because the second the Zoroark silouette was released, I was following every detail of Unova on Serebii.
