Ok, so I was playing Pokemon earlier and all was well except for my broken hinge and non-working speakers. I went out for a while, and when I came back my DS no longer turned on. When I attempt to turn it on my bottom screen flashes white, the green light turns on and then it shuts off. Googling has revealed that this means there is a problem with my top screen. My guess is that the wires are disconnected as the hinge is broken and the speakers no longer work, so they probably have the same issue. Does anyone know a good (and easy) way to fix this? I don't want to wait until my birthday.

Once my screen flickered on and off in power saver. IT turned out the card wasn't in properly and for some reason it was working but power saver wasn't

We had a white ds lite which got broken soooooo much I literally ripped the screens apart. The black one we have still works and isn't broken.

It is maybe the battery is low battery. Try charging.

The hinge problem seems widespread. It happened to mine, and two other friends.

How do you break a DS in half? Frustrating game?
