Don't wash an electric guitar, kids

Ugh…

So…Um…Funny story.

While I was watcher her, my sister got the funny idea of cleaning my brothers guitar. I seriously just checked on her and she had a rag in her hands. I was like, “Wow, charlie will be peeved of.” And sure enough, he was. When my mom came h0me he was like all, “mY PrIzEd PoSsEsSiOn ThAt I NeVeR UsE bRoKeD kAtE!!!!!!!”

Once Kate was put in time-out or whatever, Charlie had an amazing idea. He decided if he hooked the now-wet guitar it up to the amp, he could see if it was broken.

And the rest is history.

(Discuss about how younger siblings are incredibly stupid. If you are a younger sibling, talk about vise versa. If your middle, talk about both.)

Re: Don't wash an electric guitar, kids

oh wow
i'm about to buy myself a nice electric guitar pretty soon :OOO
i'll be sure to not wash it

but anyway
i'm a middle kid
i've got an older sister and a younger sister

my older sister has borrowed about 300$ from me over the past two years and she has paid exactly none of it back
she had me type up a 16-page story of hers for her LA class a while ago
she comes into my room (without knocking, of course) and demands i teach her how to play guitar on an about weekly basis, though she usually just does her own thing and never really learns much from me (but she's a lefty so it'd be hard for me to teach her anyway)
i can't play the drums without her coming into the room my drums are in (the creepy parlor with old fashioned furniture and a huge display cabinet full of creepy antique dolls that stare at you) and yelling "TOO MUCH ROCK FOR ONE HAND!!!" and dancing like an idiot (she does it sarcastically though, probably)
she and my cousin ruined a bunch of my records because they decided they were going to use my record player as a turntable
she comes into my room half dressed all the time and demands that i lend her some pants
she has me help her with her homework all the time
she gives me lectures about keeping my grades up all the time
she has creepy friends that like to talk to me
and is convinced that the tree i painted on my door has a green afro

-____________-

my little sister isn't as much of a problem but she's annoying too
she used to always come into my room without knocking and just look around
but then she peed her pants in my bathroom once (two feet away from the toilet o_o) and i've banned her from my room and then my parents made me tell her that she's unbanned but she's still too scared to come back in
she has creepy friends who call me Heidi and stand in my doorway and stare at me
she watches way too much tv
she likes hannah montana and the beatles
she asks way too many questions
and yeah

i have an annoying family

Re: Don't wash an electric guitar, kids

little sisters are annoying

tori feels the need to laugh at me when i don't get an answer right away in math

paulina always acts like a two year old even though she's in 4th grade
"such a sweetheart"
"what a caring child  smile "
"she's got spirit and spunk!"
"paulina is such a good dancer!" (which she's not)

to be honest my sister isn't really good at anything
well she's good at math but that's it

Well, my 19-year-old sister has some obvious dead matter floating around in her head.

Lalala...

My cousin's 2 year old brother was playing his DS in the bathtub... I won't go there.

I don't know what's stranger, someone playing DS on a bathtub or a 2 year old with a DS.

Re: Don't wash an electric guitar, kids

My 4 year old sister Amy, took my acoustic guitar and thought it would work better if the strings were tighter, of course she didn't have the sense to adjust it, she cut the strings with scissors and plastered them back.

MORAL: I've never let her near my acoustic or electric guitar. Ever.

Well if you wanted honesty, that's all you had to say. I never want to let you down or have you go, it's better off this way.

Re: Don't wash an electric guitar, kids

Whenever my friends come over my sister follows us everywhere. She's three years younger so trying to tell things to my friends without them hearing is really hard.
