sound doesnt work anymore on my scratch! HALP
it worked fine for a while but all of a sudden the sound stopped working when i was trying to make projects x[

Does it work for other programs that aren't Scratch? Like your media player for instance?

A couple of more questions:
1. Does sound work whey you use the Play Sound block?
2. Does sound work work when you use the Play Note block?
These are the two ways that Scratch makes sounds...and they use different techniques in each. It might help track down the problem if we knew if either one of them were working.

I think we need some help from the Scratch Team here...I've run out of ideas. So, to summarize:
1. Sound works for other applications like the Media Player
2. Sound works for the Play Note block - so MIDI is working
3. Sound does NOT work for the Play Sound block
Are you having this trouble on all your Scratch projects? Even when you open a New project and just run the Play Note and Play Sound blocks with standard Scratch Sounds?

Mine doesn't work anymore, too!
But it doesn't work in Media Player!
And note block works!
Is it the sound, or whatever?
It worked. Then, I stopped and then clicked the green flag and sound didn't worked!!!

Hi from the Scratch team -- we could use more information in order to help.
* Are you using Windows Vista or Windows XP or another operating system?
* Are you trying to play a sound that comes with Scratch? Or your own MP3 sound file?
You could email the Scratch program with the sound you are trying to play to scratch-try@media.mit.edu so we can take a look.

im using windows vista, both sounds that come with scratch, and my own mp3's dont work.
sorry i should have said that earlier! ^_^;;
