Inspiring things you saw/heard; ideas you came up with (original or partial)-- I know I keep one. Currently, there are 61 games, 42 stories, 38 music videos, 22 soundtracks, 10 short animations, 17 long animations (though you can mix all these up to form different things), and 99 inspiring tidbits, which are parts of things that could work for something.
Bah only 289 ideas. I need more than that XD
So do you keep a document of ideas? Do you plan on completing any of them?

Same. I hate it when I see people writing the title nicely on a page then don't write anything on it. To avoid that, I never start writing anything down until I know it will be more than a sentence. That's why teachers get mad at me for not taking notes
But yeah, I really should. I have lots of ideas and tend to forget them after a while. Then I come back to them and try hard, but it just won't come.

This is exactly why I started doing it. I thought it was 'babyish' and 'too much work' which is why I didn't start it till a year ago. But it's been awesome. Besides, you don't want to forget funny things you came across, or epic stories? Even writing down dreams eases the tension, however kidish it may sound to do.

I have a few story ideas in a plain text document on my laptop somewhere. I really ought to start keeping a true document, though...

Not really a document, more like a portfolio. I usually draw or write my ideas down on paper. Some I plan on completing, others have fallen into the "maybe" pile.

yes but i only wrote down quick phrases or a few sentence-long story starters that i really don't plan on using and i've forgotten where i was going with most of them anyway
and it's all mashed together in one document in a notepad file so yeah

I have a folder I call Outline. It is where I keep my ideas layed out and well organized. It suits me well because I have about 540 ideas now. I plan to keep some of my rather innovated ones and delete my well amateur ideas (unless I procrastinate).

I have several word documents on my computer... and a sketchbook.
Though, it's just full of poems and some illustrations, does that count?

Yes. The sketchbook, even 'if' it is just doodles you did during school-time or something, the concepts can be inspirational. I have one that I redid on my computer from a semester of a certain school area

My is going to start making a list of things she's going to do this summer. To put this in perspective, one of her smaller goal is to make a full length music video.
