Why is the close button disabled on the Mac version of Scratch?

I always have to press Cmd+Q to quit.

Re: Why is the close button disabled on the Mac version of Scratch?

I've always wondered this too. It may have something to do with the Squeak VM, because when you run Squeak, it ends up blocked out, too. Or maybe because having multiple windows open messes up the Scratch interface (by simply closing the window you wouldn't be closing the application, therefore defeating the purpose because there is no toolbar for "new window")

Darn, you have leopard.

PS next time you can embed the image using the [ img ] tag. It would result in this:

nice website, btw. I assume you used iLife? Or maybe just plain ol' HTML (I assumed iLife because of the reflections)

Thanks for the tip with the img tags.

Yeah I made the site with iWeb, but a few were by hand.

I guess we all have to close Scratch with Cmd-Q.
I'll post this in the suggestions forum.
