Re: Firefox 4.0

You are entitled  to your own opinion, but MY opinion is FF4 is a clone of Chrome. So is IE9. All of the other major browser creators have realized how awesome Chrome is, and have copied it.  tongue

FF4 looks ok, but I prefer Chrome.

Same here. Chrome had the look first! Microsoft and Mozilla are guilty of copying Google.

I actually prefer Chrome because I always go back after I try another browser. I'm stuck to Chrome. It's very fast and slim. That is all.

But I did use Firefox before Chrome, and I liked its addons.

I changed from chrome to ff basicly because i wanted a 4.0 version  tongue

And chrome is on Chrome 10.  tongue

And in Dev it's 11!  tongue
And in Canary it's 12!  tongue

Re: Firefox 4.0

I'm using Mozilla Minefield (Alpha Firefox 5). Look it up. It looks just like Firefox 4.

Have you tried Minefield? It's Mozilla's codename for the alpha of Firefox 5.

Re: Firefox 4.0

I've tried it, but I found the interface to be mostly like Chrome, which I already use anyway. Besides, I can't live without the Omnibar anymore.  big_smile

I do but 3.6 was way better. 4.0 looks like;

Chrome with a little bit of Opera.

Tell that to my 4.0 fired fox. When it was upgraded it slowed down.

Check your internet speed  wink
It could also be you have to much data on your pc, clear your temp folders!
And, it could also mean you need a ram upgrade!

My mother has it. It looks too much like Chrome for me.  hmm
I happen to like the tab bar under the bookmarks, right above the page content.

You can change it to make it look that way, ya know.

In fact, Tab Groups is really the only thing keeping me from Chrome right now. That, and the fact that website coding only shows up right in FF, and Chrome does something weird to it all. And my cool Persona.

Have it, love it. While it looks like Chrome clone, it still has the qualities of Firefox that Google Chrome lacks.  big_smile

Re: Firefox 4.0

Does firefox have Scratch extensions?

I only use firefox for MCC.

Otherwise I use safari for schoolwork and stuff and chrome for scratch and games.

Cause on chrome, scratch is my homepage and I have tons of apps and extensions.

I use it because it's faster, looks nicer, is tidier and has a checkbox in alert dialogs that lets you stop alert box spam.

FF4 should work with most extensions.  It now lets you have 'tab groups' and 'app tabs'.  As far as i know, the scratch extensions should work if they are designed for Firefox.

He means extensions that help with the enjoyment of scratch, such as the one being developed for Google Chrome.
