Yes he did. He was the original developer. Don't go giving out wrong information.Whoa... someone really needs to get their facts right!
Sep was the first developer of Panther, he then asked/other people requested to join him and formed the Panther Team.
Just out of interest then, who do you think developed panther?Sparks, nXIII, Markyparky56, MathWizz, Sperry.

I didn't use the source code, I used the shift-click r and in the get time/date, I replaced the code in broadcast but when I save I get the message: unknown variable: if. Can you help?

Hello! I was wondering if you could make a "print stage" block for my mod. I'm sorry for asking, but I have a lot going on and I didn't have enough time to look through this fourm...

Print stage...
I honestly think I showed the block spec for it in the second or third page of this forum. Try looking through the first few pages!

I'm doing the "get time" block from the tutorial but it keeps asking me if I want to cancel any changes, after I type in the script in the control section. I can't go onto the next step with out clicking Yes, cancel all changes. How do I save these changes?

Hm, so there is now way of combining own blocks (eg a "clone block hack") and BYOB togehter? Both hack into the image files, don`t they? So way cant I edit the BYOB`s image file and put some nice blocks into it?
And why is there no source code release of BYOB yet? That sucks, too.
YOU CAN HACK BYOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Right-click on a non-custom block and click on 'edit elements'. This brings you to a simplified version of the browser. Go to Scratch-UI-Panes -> ScratchFrameMorph -> menu/button actions -> helpMenu:. Where it says '#openBYOBManual' (near the top) replace it with '#fillScreenOff'. Now, in the help menu, click on 'BYOB Reference Manual'. The fill-screen mode is off! Now you can reverse what you've done in the browser and add a devMenu:! I recomend that you do most of you're work in the Elements window as it has a more farmiliar look to it with the codes, but have fun hacking! (NOTE: If you give this to someone else, then know that I figured it out all on my own, so don't claim that it's your's.)

Hi there,
Is there a way to create using new blocks using BYOB? I cannot exit fullscreen in BYOB because there is no 'r' in the title bar...the source code version of BYOB will be coming out sometime in august, these types of custom blocks aren't possible in BYOB. If you use Scratch or the sourcecode for Scratch then you can make custom blocks like these.
YES THEY ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RIGHT-CLICK ON A BLOCK AND CLICK ON 'edit elements'! EPIC SUCCESS!

You know you don't need to do ^ 'Error!'?
Just do this instead:
^ self Error
It reports an actual error instead.

Right-click on the block until the little circle-icons surround only the block. Then click the red one that looks like a notepad (top row), and navigate to change color.

Hmm - I'm looking at the list in the first post, and the only blocks which I think could be made in BYOB are lowercased (and probably uppercased) and reversed blocks...
Either way, awesome guide!
BYOB can also let you make the clone block:
[say (clone) for '0' secs] [broadcast (join 'BYOB-Created ' (attribute 'sprite name')]
So, then if Sprite1 ran that script, it'll be cloned, and if the clone has the 'BYOB-Created [original spritename]' broadcast hat-block, then it does something.

After I added a few custom blocks, Squeak started giving me weird error messages when I opened a Scratch project and then giving me the new project with the cat sprite! Also, I'm trying to get the "Showing" block, but I can't find the looks section in the blockspecs, even if I search "looks" in find.

Easily done by hand with the URL block anyway...

Could someone show me how to do a block that says "If touching (sprite) bounce"?
I'm really bad at making blocks, I've tried it about three times now and the farthest I got was to get the block to appear, but it didn't do anything
