My brothers say that my flash and my scratch projects suck sometimes too. They don't really understand what goes into making these things.

One of my old "friends" constantly criticized every one of my projects (and Scratch as a whole) negatively. I usually spend a lot of time perfecting something, just for someone to tell me how bad it is. She didn't really know what she was talking about, either! That doesn't happen anymore, but it bugs me that some people refuse to understand how much effort some people put into this.

Learning is not always easy, and what we make along the way shouldn't embarass us, its just part of the process. Like with drawing...so many people say they can not draw, but do not seem to realize that it just takes years of practice and since they never start they will never get anywhere.
Unfortunately it is easier to be a critic than to learn how to do something. Still the nice thing is that when you spend time on things like programming you are learning skills you will have for life. And programming seems like it is being used, even to customize software, more and more. I'm older and any of my friends who know how to program find it easy to get jobs, and tend to love what they do.

Me and my brother criticize eachothers projects, but were just joking. Its my friends that criticize my projects, but I don't care, because I know they can't do any better. I think it all depends on how you take it. Anyways, thats just what brothers do, they argue.

Critique is good.
It took me a while to get used to it.
I got a really good critique once upon a time, when I posted a bad comic idea on a forum.
Of course, I didn't like it at first, but I eventually learned that it was for my own good. Without it, my story telling skills would have been...not good at all. >__<
