Well, I guess my FAVORITE album is one of these:
Manners (Passion Pit)
No Need to Argue (The Cranberries)
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (I just hope you know this)
Oh, and PAUL GILBERT. I have a funny story about him. An awesome person I vaguely know came to my house and I played "Get Out of My Yard." I didn't expect him to know it, but he said, "Oh, Paul Gilbert, he's in amazing guitarist." That person, whom I wish to know less vaugely, is just awesome.

There are a lot of weird songs on that album, it sort of creeps me out.
Take Dental Care for instance.

I prefer Hybrid Theory. That's was a good album. Meteroa was decent, but not as good as Hybrid Theory. MTM dissapointed me, as "What I've Done" was the only standout track. When I heard "Catalyst", I thought that it would be an improvement, but LP made me sad.
So yeah. Get Hybrid Theory, and possibly Meteora, but just download a few songs from MTM and ATS from iTunes, because the whole albums aren't very good.

Does that sound anything like the albums he listed?

I lieks hybrid theory too. Especially because it's got In the End in it.rocket101 wrote:

Nope, but they're still a good band.

I feel sorry for that guy (his girlfriend died in a car crash), but he is still awful.
Also OneRepublic? They're okay, but they sound nothing like what he listed. He wants recommendations based on his taste, not yours.
@EmperorEvil: You might like Punk In Drublic by NOFX, BTW. It has a good punk rock sound, and the "I'm with stupid" type humor doesn't get old for a while.
