That's just "famous" animators. There's tons of good ones around the site.

I do cruddy mouth movement but only because I'm not an animator just an artist... but Scratch is becoming full of rubbish. If you click home it is rare to see a good project by someone unfamous in the newest project sections. It tends to be shoddy doodles or rubbish shooting games. Or some random school project with a talking dragon!!!

Back to the point.

Scratch contains too many 8-10 yr olds who want to animate but can't so they do 2 costumes for the mouth!
Many "good" animaters waste their time doing pointles run cycles or some get fed up of wasting their talent because a rubbish game got on the front page from the maker spamming so they quit...

I only have one on hand who I just found, this user vortex19 is pretty good at timing and execution, and is pretty funny. You can see his/her newest project here.

Kids think that once they get front paged, they're God. So they post a bunch of this really bad stuff, and people think it's good only because it as front paged. It was REALLY front paged because so many people add those guys to their friends list and stalk them.
