A shih-tzu. They're cute, and don't shed. Although, grooming and attention may be an issue.

- Intelligent and semi-easy to train
- Athletic and energetic
- Doesn't drool (yeah sorry don't like that)
- Gets along with older children
- Social, but not "omg playwithme hahahahahaha"
- Not too big, size isn't a big issue.
- Don't care about the coloring, but should be sorta easy to groom and not too much shedding

I would reccommend a golden retriever because they're all of those things except they drool, shed, and "omgplaywithme"

Also labs but Alternatives alreday said them

great, i'll never get a dog at this rate. my dad would not spend a cent for a fence, he already complains about any other expense and i could hardly convince him to get a hamster.

A HAMSTER.

are their any dogs that WON'T go suicidal if they don't have some stupid fence?

Well, maltipoos (continuing my previous post  tongue ) are the kind of dogs that will usually be in your lap, in your arms, and will most likely run around on the couch.

yeah, i want a dog i can run around with, kind of wrestle, and train without it getting the wind sucked out of him

Ah, I see. In that case, lab would be an even better choice. But they do shed. I chose maltipoo because they shed very little, if at all.

Shepherd

Because when you give it pie it's Shepherd's pie.

I have a bunch of names I would call a dog.

Generously     ---- Please give generously.
Surely            ---- Surely you can't be serious.
Whatever       ---- What-ev-errr
for-sure         ---- That's for sure

Can't remember the rest.

Speaking as the owner of one, English Springer Spaniels are usually energetic and quite smart.  They're also really well behaved (except for the very rare case of "Springer Rage").  The only problem is they need quite a bit of attention, but not too too much.

Just gonna say again.  It's a great choice.

Re: What Dog Should I Get?

I have some German Shepherd mix mutt. Yeah like, german shepherds are ugly, but he has their build and this different fur that makes him cute unlike an image search on "german shepherds".

hes real enrgetic (like wrestle type energy) and i dont think he sheds too much fur.

A cockapoo, and possibly the breed my dog is.

GET IT.

any reason?

hey just asking, i want more than "it's cute"

Fulfills all of "type of dog I'd lean towards" in the first post. Maybe not so much "gets along with older children", but, hey, after being viciously attacked by three different dogs, it's normal for a dog to be jumpy around other dogs. Well, our dog doesn't growl at them or anything, he just gets scared xD.

Labrador. Exept they would greet all your friends and attack hobos.

Re: What Dog Should I Get?

I live with a basset hound-beagle hybrid, and she gets very excited when people ring the doorbell. Other then that, she isn't very active, and spends her days curling up on the carpet or her bed. If that's fine with you, then I recommend getting that.

Oh, and ADOPT don't buy.
