Math Projects

I have created a new gallery "Math Projects"
http://scratch.mit.edu/galleries/view/6423
and seeded it with a number of projects that were tagged with the word "math"

If you have a math-related project, please put it in the gallery.
Note: I may remove some projects if I feel that the math component is not sufficient to warrant inclusion.

Re: Math Projects

I'm still looking for a good graphic for the Math Projects gallery.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Re: Math Projects

Factals seem to be used a lot for pictures of math related topics.  If I remember a the textbooks that I had in school had pictures of things like clocks or bridges on the cover.

Something involving geometry is probably your best bet to have something that is both mathematical and visual.

Re: Math Projects

The Math Gallery now has a picture! I took a picture of a soroban (Japanese abacus) for the gallery picture.

How come no one has done an abacus animation in scratch?

Re: Math Projects

I am assuming the project has to be 'about' maths rather than just using it?

Re: Math Projects

Chimpanzee,  it is very rude to put ads for your games on unrelated posts.  Start your own thread in Show and Tell.

bigB, the project has to use math in a significant way---more than scratch programs usually do, or be about math.

Re: Math Projects

I also want to make math games. So I told people I know about Scratch. You can make projects and make them mostly educational. I'm trying to find out how to make answers from the questions be completely right and post it right.
