Quiet, I've even been looking in forest and tiaga biomes and I know they're rare already. I guess I just have bad luck.

Snow + Mountains is taiga, snow alone can also be tundra. And there are lots of forest types actually

That's not what I meant- It's just to stop ravens attacking your crops you need a scarecrow, made of wheat. Where'd you get that wheat?

Feed them meat. Right click on them until they have upward tails. You cab use them to kill any animal... Click on an animal and they will attack it.
