Flat Feet - Where the arch of your foot is not as high as normal or is non-existant. The whole of the bottom of your foot is always touching the floor if you have the condition. Your foot tends to roll inwards and can hurt after a lot of walking.
OMG! I think I have flat feet!
Don't be paranoid! It's common, and you can diagnose it by wetting the bottom of your foot and making a print on a surface on which water leaves a mark. Pavements are good.
If the print is like a block and there is no curve on the inner side of the foot, you may have flat feet. It's not a problem, and unless it hurts, just leave it.
I'm paranoid! I have flat feet! I like exclamation points!
You can get arch supports from the pharmacy. If they don't work, see a doctor.
I have flat feet. I might need surgery on both feet - pins and plates. Apparently it's pioneering... D:
Discuss! Do you have this condition?

I have a veruca infection instead, so I have to freeze them off! I got it from a swimming pool floor! D:
Nasty. I don't have flat feet but my feet hurt anyway if I've walked for 2 miles non-stop! XD

Same. I have a bad limp.
And hope you're better soon =3

Nope, my feet are arched perfectly. Though, you know the toe that is next to the big toe? Mine is bigger than my big toe. Its a sign of athletic abilities.

no, mine are small and arched
my friend has them though, she walks like a duck

Nah... though in early China, wealthy mothers would break their eight-year-old daughter's feet in three places...
Just a fun fact. They actually reform into some quite disgusting little lumps.

Aww... surgery? I've had surgery before. It was on my arm. It was twice in the same place actually... XD It hurt a lot. Anyway, my grandpa has flat feet. Or at least, that's what my mom told me. Good luck with surgery!

Are you back?
I don't have them.

I do. So does my brother. We both got it from my mother's side of the family.
But why the drastic surgery, though? Most of the time flat feet can be treated with shoe inserts.

i didnt know flat feet ever even mattered
and if you're foot is flat, shoe inserts would just hurt

Not really. Shoe inserts just act as a temporary arch for the foot so walking doesn't hurt so much. I use them, and they don't feel uncomfortable at all (unless the shoe is really tight and I'm wearing thick socks
).

My feet roll in. Expensive shoe inserts stopped that. Now I don't like walking without them.

I have them, but i'm actually pretty good at soccer (if i do say so myself).

I have orthotics/arch supports, but my feet are so badly flat they make walking so painful with them. I have to take them out after an hour, it KILLS!
And I think my specialist recommended an operation because my ankle surgery makes it hard to walk in orthotics anyway, and my flat feet hurt. It's imossible to walk in shoes with an arch built in.
I'm wearing my orthotics all the time now - it just makes the bottom of my feet numb and hurts my ankle. I limp like I'm lame.
@soup - It's damaging my knee joints, and I can't run well. And they really hurt, it's hell.
@fire219 - I'm hopeless at running too D:
@scarstar - I might need my ankle sawed apart again soon
It would be annoying having pioneering surgery with pins/plates in both feet at the same time. Wheelchairs suck
And thanks!!
