Sending files to friends?

Can I send my Scratch project to friends or family without uploading it to the site? How do I do that? Do they need to download the application to watch it?

I made a movie for a friend but he won't be able to download the application (he uses a school computer).

How can I get this project to him?

Thanks!

Re: Sending files to friends?

Uploading to the site is probably the best way to do it. You could give them the .sb file by cd or flashcard but to play it you would need to have the scratch program installed. If you really don't want the scratch program to be installed you can send them the scratch player files along with your project or you can upload the files to your own personal website. Details on this can be found @ http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=763#p763

Re: Sending files to friends?

You could transform the file into .exe, but I don't know if it works. More information about this: http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=10122
