Avatars in the Forums

Ha, nobody suggested this! Unfortunately, coolstuff posted and gave me the idea... so I'm not so great after all.
So, back to digging around in the past threads. One of them started with five posts all agreeing and cheering it on, until the show ended:Zelda123 wrote:
Avatars on forums are not necessary and would clutter things up and slow the page up.
Quick, draw the curtains before the crowd purchases their eggs and tomatoes! Just joking.
There were several other threads, but they all came down to the same thing: It would be all cluttered, and the pages would load s-l-o-w-l-y.
However, SmartIrishKid mentioned how to post your avatar if you feel like it, or put it in your signature.SmartIrishKid wrote:
I think the Scratch Team has already said no to avatars, but I know how to automatically program an avatar into your signature. Go to your My Stuff page and right-click on your avatar, then copy the link.

Guess what? The next version of The Scratch Extension might include it, and you can turn it off!!

Messages to show in forums

It has been suggested before, but an answer has never really been given... however, your dear writer had a brainstorm:
What if the moderators receive their reported messages in the forums? It would be seperate from their other messages, and it would make things clearer for them.
I posted a thread on that, but JSO (one of the moderators) said this:JSO wrote:
No they don't
They appear on some standard punbb page

You can't see them because the forums and the main site look the same but well they aren't. Showing messages on the forums would require a ton of ScratchR functions and now they are perfectly seperated. You can sometimes ecen visit the forums when the main Scratch site is down.So there.
Now that I looked silly, I suggested that tomatoes were thrown...
Guess what? The next version of The Scratch Extension might include it, and you can turn it off!!

Maybe we could find some way to put scratch projects into forum posts somehow? That'd be cool.

So when you have a suggestion to make, check if it's already covered.

That's cool! Having more and more features to play with here at Scratch will make it even more interesting to play with.

It's a reply to that topic? Just post there and maybe Chrishb (or a mod) will add it. No need for a topic that is the same.
