and the band name thing depends on what kind of music you're playing
but looking at past experiences, scratchers aren't all that great at making up band names

i would suggest "fink ployd" but my friends want to use that for our (nonexistent) band

but anyway yeah you should have at least some idea
just make it some inside joke between you and your bandmates
random jarble from strangers on the internet hardly ever makes a good band name
random jarble that is the product of you and your friends conversing could be cool

but the guitarist, singer, and keyboardist (so everyone but me) didn't like it :c
