The problem, is that restarting or starting doesn't acctually start the server...I don't understand...
For some odd reason, when I start the server, minecraft doesn't realize that it has been started. I think that the server still thinks it is running, but it just doesn't run.
You mean that when you try to join it gets stuck at the login screen?

If it was off it would not go to the login screen. Why can't you do what I told you? How do you control the server from your computer?
I use a visual ftp online that is the default for my server company. I can ftp/ssh in from comandline though, but I don't know how. Do you mean the login screen on minecraft or the server files?

Can you run the server with the command
java -Xincgc -Xmx2G -jar <insert server name with extension>
?
EDIT: If you think I'm trustworthy, would you let me access the server with ftp? It would help me figure out the problem a lot better.

Wierd. The server peeps added some more memory, and thus restarted the server. Now the server is working, but hopefully this won't happen again.

Gbear, can you get MCMMO to work for all players?

Where can I build on the server? I need shelter or I'll wind up letting a creeper destroy the town.
PVP or i could sell you my plot in minerton.
How would PVP help? And what would you charge for your plot? I don't actually have anything now, but I can pay you later.

I have a nice house in PVP.
maybe 20 iron or redstone, 10 gold, or 3 diamond.
If I'm not overcharging I'm probably undercharging.

Where is the land? I'll take it if I can pay after I get set up. Also, know why the server is so laggy for me? Any way to fix it, or is it just like that?
It is next to the sep complex. You'll have to tell gbear that i have sold my property to you cause s/he made it so only I can build there. Idk it is laggy for me too.
set all the graphicy stuff on the worst settings.
