Thanks for the offer, we'll see what's happening but we do already have a site.

I've had an Idea. You could add a button that says Rate It! and when they click a form would open allowing it to rate it out of five. We could also add a way of logging in/registering so they do not rate it unfairly.
Tables (MySQL)
users Id int Username VARCHAR Password VARCHAR scratchName VACHAR review ID UserID INT BlockID INT Rating INT
----------------
I am writing from my iPod so any errors with syntax etc. can be ignored
Ps. The code is not a complete SQL Script, just an idea
Pps. If you need a hand implementing the PHP I can help

I do like the idea, some MySQL rating would be neat, but I don't think logging in should be needed as I want the block library to be open to everyone. We should be able to do an ip biased vote though where only one vote per block per IP exists.
What though, would rating a block do? Are you voting for usefulness, for well programmed code or what? It wouldn't be taken off of the library list if it was bad...

I think it would just provide a way for people to show how useful/effective for use. Also, we could make it a comment instead of a star rating- does away with the need for IP adress (fiddling around with $_SERVER[]) Comments could need to be reviewed or flag system etc.

It shouldn't be too hard...
Also, Sparks, you could give the hosting account details to your librarians so they can develop for the moment. If you couldn't trust them, you wouldn't have appointed them.

I can tell people to go places I have not gone... No one could have made it to the moon if you couldn't tell someone to go where you yourself hadn't... The Misc fora are for this sort of discussion so that is where I will suggest it should go.
