adding blocks to scratch

I saw the local block library thing and was wondering how you actually add those blocks to scratch. I could really use some of those for my pokemon game. Is there some sort of software that you need?

Adding custom blocks to Scratch doesn't mean it will work with the online player.

Re: adding blocks to scratch

No, ihaveamac is correct, adding a block from the block library to your copy of Scratch means that only that copy of Scratch will have the blocks. If you want to distribute your game in the end, therefore, you will have to distribute it in a folder with the edited version of Scratch it uses. There are tutorials for adding blocks in the library itself that take you through it! Try the two links at the top of this forum page for tutorial links!
