I tried to hold it in, but I made that and it's still hard for me not to laugh.
a joke isn't funny if you don't laugh at it

I have a theory.
Scratch is a project that largely requires monetary donations and grants to keep running, right? I think that, if Scratch will end, it will be because no one wants to continue the project or there's no funding for it anymore.

Exactly. Lack of funding will be the end.
Although a few might just keep using it.
But considering the creators are MIT students, and that's probably a lot of their funding, I'm not terribly worried.

What if people donate to scratch?
That would help keep it alive.
We'd need quite a bit of it though to keep it going. ^^
Now if it's possible to have every member donated a dollar every year, that would be like $700,000+ a year for Scratch.

Scratch will NOT end! I won't let it!
Plus, I'd donate.

I estimated based of registration data that no one would be on scratch in about 20 years. Sometime last year the registations dropped. Programming that into my calculator showed that everyone would have left in 20 years and nobody will be registering around 2-4 years from now.
